The Tucson shooter is a real creep who murdered a 9-year-old girl in cold blood. There is no need for “collateral damage” in Operation U.S.A. Freedom. Politicians making a motion to amend a motion or autographing a bill into law, are just babbling and scribbling. It's U.S. Border Patrol agents that are to blame for the unprovoked violence against innocent drug dealers and migrant workers. To use the cliché of “the will of the people” is to invite unprovoked violence against that enemy — the people — as you have blamed “the people” for the injustice, instead of blaming Border Patrol agents. Spread the word: If you’re peering through the scope of a high-powered sniper rifle, and you see a Border Patrol agent and a 9-year-old girl, don’t shoot the 9-year-old girl. It is not the duty of Wal-Mart to report violations by others of unjust immigration laws. It is the duty of Congress to repeal them, and the duty of voters to elect candidates willing to do their duty.

Achtung! Where are your papers? They commit crimes of brutality against innocent people,  and demand bribes for helping immigrants and drug smugglers. They illegally detained whole busloads of people for three hours. They prosecute innocent people after illegal searches and seizures.  They hassle and interrogate innocent people.  Even USA citizens can get deported by these lawless goons. Doesn't matter if you're as far from the border as Nebraska. On 27 March 1999, a Border Patrol goon with a criminal record killed three people.  . On 5 November 2001, a BP goon was convicted of molesting an 8-year-old girl.
Another is now under investigation for drugging and raping two women. Then they whine like a bunch of crybabies when somebody fights back in self-defense. They blame their victims for   fighting back. Detainees can be locked up with violent, dangerous types who do the BP's dirty work for them. Even a Federal judge routinely gets harassed.  The American Friends' Service Committee (AFSC) has a few programmes to document the abuse.   If you get any crap from the Border Patrol, report it. If you live in El Paso, be sure to tell Congressman Silvestre Reyes what a bunch of jerks the BP goons are. He used to be one! Check out how the agency views freedom of speech.

Let's see now, when drivers endanger innocent people by driving under the influence of alcohol, the solution is to patrol the highways. But when drivers endanger innocent people by driving under the influence of cocaine, the solution is to patrol...the border! Makes sense to tyrants.

Unlike your local police department, which has necessary law enforcement included as part of its mission, there is no legitimate law enforcement function for the United States Border Patrol. If you don't like undocumented Mexicans, you don't have to hire them. If they stroll from Nogales, Sonora into Nogales, Arizona with backpacks full of recreational drugs that you and your family don't like, you and your family don't have to buy any. The people aren't violating anybody's rights by bringing themselves and their property into the United States, and the government does not own the United States.

On Thursday morning, 3 August 1989, the Hudson Police Department in New Hampshire murdered Bruce Lavoie, an unarmed man, as his children watched in horror. People have a pretty good reason to be furious about such conduct from the police. The Hudson cops are damned lucky that the people didn't just go out and slaughter every one of them...but then, when the armoured car got robbed in Hudson and two guards were murdered, whom would the people call? You see, there is an actual need for some laws, and a need for the enforcement of those laws, but there is no need for the Border Patrol. If people from the south side of the river decide they want to take up residence on the north side, who you gonna call? Call your new neighbours and say, bienvenidos! The United States has been described as a nation of immigrants. (Actually, it is a country of immigrants.) So, in all fairness to the police officers, average police don't deserve to get killed nearly as much as Border Patrol goons do. Some police officers sign up so they can serve the people, accepting the job of enforcing the many unjust laws as a required trade-off. That is a decision they have made and, while it is the wrong decision, at least they aren't as bad as Border Patrol goons, which sign up only out of greed and malice. Border Patrol goons only serve the wants of bigots. Border Patrol goons are the scum of the Earth.
On 19 August 1997, New Hampshire generously shared our man Carl Drega with our good neighbour to the west, and while in Vermont, Drega put a Border Patrol goon in the hospital in critical condition. The Border Patrol goons whine like a bunch of crybabies when one of them gets shot, but what about the millions of Holocaust victims whom the I&NS helped to murder? While Hitler burned the house down, I&NS blocked the fire exits from the outside.

Traffic Checkpoints Traffic checks are conducted on major highways leading away from the border to (1) detect and apprehend illegal aliens attempting to travel further into the interior of the United States after evading detection at the border and (2) to detect illegal narcotics. Transportation Checks These are inspections of interior-bound conveyances, which include buses, commercial aircraft, passenger and freight trains, and marine craft.

And from the FEDERAL STATUTES Sec. 1357. Powers of immigration officers and employees (a) Powers without warrant Any officer or employee of the Service authorized under regulations prescribed by the Attorney General shall have power without warrant - (3) within a reasonable distance from any external boundary of the United States, to board and search for aliens any vessel within the territorial waters of the United States and any railway car, aircraft, conveyance, or vehicle, and within a distance of twenty-five miles from any such external boundary to have access to private lands, but not dwellings, for the purpose of patrolling the border to prevent the illegal entry of aliens into the United States; United States Code, Title 8, section 1357

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." --U.S. Constitution, Amendment IV.

The Constitution does not say that the right to be secure against unreasonable searches and seizures shall be violated anywhere within 25 statute miles of the border. It does not authorise the hassling and interrogation of innocent people without probable cause.
If you're over 100 kilometres from the border, (Interstate 5 near San Clemente) they didn't see you cross the line, let alone cross illegally, and have no right to confront you as you're peacefully minding your own business, riding the bus. Notice, however, that they love to pick on poor people, who have to take the bus, much more than they pick on wealthier people, who have cars to drive. That's because people who are poor tend to have less power than people who are rich. So the goons figure they can get away with more.

Drug Seizures An increase in smuggling activities has pushed the Border Patrol to the front line of the U.S. war on drugs. It’s role as the primary drug-interdicting organization along the Southwest border continues to expand. I&NS’ heightened presence along the Southwest border has burdened narcotic traffickers and alien smugglers. In FY 1999, Border Patrol Agents seized more than 29,000 pounds of cocaine and nearly 1.2 million pounds of marijuana. The total street value of drugs interdicted in FY 1999 was more than \\$1.9 billion.

Note that their proofreader probably went to public school. The site uses "It's" where "Its" is appropriate. Possessive pronouns don't take an apostrophe.

In most cases, drugs stolen by Border Patrol goons are never returned to the rightful owners. Instead, the goons take the owners prisoner at gunpoint. Then they whine like a bunch of crybabies when somebody fights back! On 19 January 1996, some backpackers were peacefully minding their own business, doing their part to help meet the insatiable demand of millions of American consumers for marijuana, when a Border Patrol goon confronted them and tried to arrest them all in Eagle Pass. One smuggler fought back like a man, to defend himself, and that was all for that agent. They didn't learn their lesson about messing with innocent drug smugglers, though. On 3 June 1998, it happened near Nogales, and they try to make it sound like the person was in the wrong for firing in self-defence! (And that was all for that Border Patrol goon.) How many more Border Patrol goons does the government want the people to slaughter, before the government calls off its War on Drugs and releases all the P.O.W.'s? 

Like, in 1999, by the Border   Patrol's own count, 369 people lost their lives because of the Border Patrol forcing them to take dangerous detours, and they whine like a bunch of crybabies because 17 Border Patrol goons get killed over five years. There are thousands of innocent drug smugglers languishing in prison because of the Border Patrol, and thousands of innocent migrants get sent back to wretched Third World conditions, and the BP goons think they've got it tough with new policies.   Police officers sign up, in some cases, to enforce necessary laws and serve their communities, accepting the task of waging the government's War on Drugs as a compromise of their own values, but Border Patrol goons sign up just to wage war against the people in the United States and arrest people for being born in another country. Their only motives are greed and malice. The Border Patrol is a leading force in the government's War on Drugs, which war the government has absolutely no right to wage. So police officers don't deserve to get killed nearly as much as Border Patrol goons do.

Another outlandish quote:

Alien smugglers are unscrupulous criminals who have no regard for the lives of their human cargo.

Like, if the Border Patrol goons would just get a job and earn a living, people wouldn't need to hire coyotes in the first place. Millions of people are condemned to wretched Third World poverty in places like El Salvador, because of Border Patrol goons reporting for another shift. Even when the Border Patrol rescues people stranded in the wilderness, it is the fault of the Border Patrol that the people had to take that detour instead of crossing in a better place. Besides, they say people shouldn't paint all law enforcement officers with the same brush because of the wrongful actions of a few. Now they paint all coyotes with the same brush!
